For most people who are not accustomed to generating leads/prospects or any form of network or business, this is usually the first question to come up: "Who do I talk to about my new business?"
If that is the question, then it's the wrong question. Understand that nobody is interested in 'your' business. They're only interested in solving 'their problem'! And when you can connect what you do, to the solution to their problem, THEN you have something to talk about. When you can go forward into the world as a problem solver, with a spirit of 'service' to the world, only then will you find success. You have to be willing to give first to help others, even if it doesn't result in immediate business. With this reputation as a helper and problem solver you'll build lasting relationships and then you'll get all you need.
With that in mind, here are some of my favorite lead sources:
Referral Key: This is a free program to join. You'll find thousands of small business people involved looking to share referrals and promote their business. Once you set up your profile, you can share it, promote it, post comments, offers, and reply to other posts from members. The sole objective for everyone here is to 'do more business'. You can build a substantial list of referrals quickly here. There are some tips you should know. Ask if interested. My recommendation is to spend 15 minutes a day here, develop more colleagues and make 10 posts a day. Don't just spam people, create a custom message for each one, or at least use their personal name with a copied message and try to find a way to appeal to their needs.

They generally screen the leads and depending on the types of leads you're looking for, they will call the lead and talk with them for a personal screening to confirm their interests. Social Media You can advertise on Facebook, Twitter and all the other social media and set your own budget. On Facebook for example, you can set the budget for as low as $5 a day ($100 min campaign). This is an entire discipline in itself to study and know the ins and outs. I have some video tutorials for anyone interested.
CrowdRising Automated Lead Capture & Presentation system. This is for anyone involved in CrowdRising.
